A shoot of biblical proportions

PURE is Polaris' accessories division. And every off road vehicle owner wants accessories. So the Polaris' annual Off-Road PURE catalog is affectionately known as the Bible amongst their sales staff and dealers. We were lucky enough to photograph all of the lifestyle and action shots for it, all in one five-day shoot, and all at locations within MN. We shot accessories and apparel in what looks like a desert sand environment, an agricultural setting, and forest trails.

Because of product logistics, the shoot was literally one week before the agency SixSpeed's press date for the large brochure. So we brought our digi-tech on set and locked him in the RV to process and retouch all of the images. That amounted to a mammoth task of preparing 150 retouched and print-ready images while negotiating raw conditions in multiple locations.
