We got the assignment to photograph one of the world's best snowcross riders, Levi Lavallee, at a tour stop near home at the Brainerd International Raceway. Since we were shooting during the race, we were nervous about getting clean shots.  Turned out to be a non-issue, as Levi was in first place, every lap, every race. Our second concern: the finger-numbing -30°F weather. Turns out Levi and his family are so down-to-earth, they welcomed us into their tour bus to warm up between races.
